GURPREET’S SEARCH FOR BROTHER’S ACCOMMODATION
It has been over weeks trying to find my brother accommodation for his second year of universiy at Kings College London. This past week we have been ringing non stop estate agents in Central London trying to find accommodation within “SE1″ area preferably London Bridge, Borough or slightly pushing it up to Bermondsey.
Every house, flat or apartment we found either online or in adverts, not one was available, they were either taken up or off the market all together. From the early hours of each day up until the evening we’ve been constantly ringing up estate agents.
Before my brother was going to live with two housemates (one whom is his friend) and another housemate who they know from other friends. So we were looking for 3 bedroom houses/flats/apartments. But now my brother and his friend decided just to live together as the third person wasn’t really putting any effort in searching for the accommodation. Meaning we reduced the bedrooms to only two, thinking we may get a lot more results and success, but even reducing the bedrooms to a two bedroom flat/house/apartment we still faced the same problem with the properties coming down from the market in the last few days.
Finally, today we managed to get our hands on a few houses in London Bridge and Borough that my brother booked for a viewing tommorrow, hopefully he can set a deal on a house too.

[...] I can’t really believe I’m saying this but WHOW, I’m actually relieved from the “Central London Accommodation hunting” for my brother. I’ve been stressed in trying to get him a place to live over weeks now, as explained in my previous post here. [...]
